Tracey Elizabeth Webb is a consulting firm in San Francisco Bay Area, California that brings more than 25 years of experience working with C-level executives and professional staff to find the authentic voice of the organization.  We use the core "organizational DNA" to accelerte performance and to align performance against strategic imperatives. 


Our company has been lead by Tracey Elizabeth Webb for more than 16 years. She began the firm working with groups of engineers while still a student at Stanford University. After graduation, she attended Harvard Law School for a year and a half before switching to an MBA later to pursue her passion in business. Ms. Webb works directly with senior clients and staff to help them navigate and master the murky waters of organizational life.


She is dedicated to helping organizations accelerate the contribution of their professional staff through heightened communication, authentic dialogue, and innovation.

Tracey Webb’s Story 

Education

Ms. Webb has been an active member of the San Francisco Bay Area business community since her days as a student at Stanford University, where she began a market research business. Her practice provided market profiles of the Pacific Rim primarily for small high-tech or engineering firms beginning in 1980.


Upon graduation with a B.A. in International Relations with Departmental Honors from Stanford University in 1982, Ms. Webb attended Harvard Law School from 1982-1984. Ms. Webb earned an MBA in 2003 from the Transnational Executive MBA Program from the School of Economics and Business from the California State East Bay (formerly California State Hayward).


She completed 1/3 of the coursework toward a  doctorate in Organizational Change at Pepperdine University. She taught Large Systems Implementation at the University of Cape Coast in Ghana to post-graduate candidates who were senior government leaders.

Giving Back to the Community 

Ms. Webb is active in the San Francisco Bay Area philanthropic community. She has served on the board of directors of the EdFund , the public-private partnership that supports the West Contra Costa Unified School District. 


She has been a volunteer teacher with Junior Achievement, served on the Board of the San Francisco YMCA, spoken on numerous panels as well as on PBS. She has also served as president of the Northern California Stanford Black Alumni Association for 2 years. She also founded a new national Stanford Alumni Group, Stanford Alumni for a Green Environment (SAGE).


Ms. Webb was an invited participant in the West Coast Leadership Forum of The American Democratic Institute. Additionally, she was selected as a facilitator for The Clinton Global Initiative launch in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was admitted to the Stanford Graduate School of Business’ Executive Program for Women Leaders. Ms. Webb was one of the hosts and facilitators for the senior level trade delegation from Ghana to the San Francisco Bay Area in September of 2011.

Currently, Ms. Webb runs Tracey Elizabeth Webb Associates, which is an executive and organizational effectiveness consultancy. Her strong suit is helping her clients conceptualize and implement change management and human capital acceleration strategies.


Ms. Webb focuses on creating training and consulting engagements designed to produce business results. She focuses on executive development, diversity/equity/inclusion, organization vision and values creation and execution, team development, and sales process development and strategy.

Breadth of Experience and Agility

Ms. Webb works with large and small corporations, as well as not-for-profit organizations. She has worked on strategic organization change efforts for large community-based non-profits, affinity group work, high potential development, community convening around diversity/equity/inclusion, and executive coaching at the C level.


Additionally, she has worked on executive and senior team coaching assignments with a major school district—working directly with the superintendent, the school board, and the senior executives. She has facilitated a key town hall meeting for this same district on a very high profile issue. Her clients have included Genentech, Kaiser Permanente, MGM Resorts, municipalities, and start-up ventures.

Extensive Experience in the Industry 

Over the last 25+ years, Ms. Webb has worked with numerous senior executives and their organizations. She has held business development, marketing, research, and sales positions with firms including IBM and Xerox. One of her first contracts over 25 years ago was a study produced for Dr. William Miller, then the CEO of Stanford Research Institute entitled, “Emerging Technologies in the Pacific Basin.”


For 15+ years she focused her professional efforts in the area of business development for consultancies or training companies focusing on executive, professional, and organization development. 


She has worked with:

  • The Forum Corporation (in the field of change management and organizational alignment surrounding branded customer service and market differentiation)

  • Development Dimensions International (DDI)

  • Learning International (now Achieve Global)

  • Huthwaite

  • Wilson Learning

Ms. Webb also ran sales for the western half of The United States for Novations. She also served on the Senior Leadership Group (SLG) that ran the Selection, Development, and Communications Division of Novations.

Engagement Methodology

Ms. Webb guides the design of all of our client engagements.  Her process involves deep and structued query to glean an understanding of the organizations current and desired state.  Additionally, we scan the organization for pockets of exceptional performance and performers to help shape and accelerate our engagements from within the organization.  We collaborate with our clients to set key objectives and we manage our engagements to those metrics. 

Teaching Experience 

Ms. Webb has been an Instructor at UC Berkeley Extension’s program for international graduate students, teaching both management and leadership, and Creating a Business Plan for Start-up Ventures. She has also been a teaching fellow at NASDAQ Entrepreneurial Center in San Francisco.
